a flag for someone who is both a vampire and a zombie. This may be due to their experiences in life making them feel both like a creature of the night and a walking corpse, it could also be that they’re queerness can be represented through the hidden nature and loneliness of being queer, combined with surviving the rejection you may have faced in or outside of the community.
There may be other reasons for how this may affect the person and why they use the label.

the experience of one’s identity influenced in such a way by being schizospec that one feels connected to, akin to, or highly related to vampirism and/or vampires
schizospec - an umbrella term for several mental health disorders which exhibit psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, or other personality traits related to schizophrenia. under this umbrella include schizophrenia, schizoaffective, schizotypal, and schizoid disorders
vampirism- the act of obsession with taking life force, typically through blood, from another being. often seen in literature, folklore, or other media but can be recognized as a clinical/medical phenomenon. vampires throughout time have represented feared groups of people (immigrants, disabled people, queer people) and often being stand ins for the ‘evil’ that these groups were seen as. schizospec people being one of these groups. delusions can sometimes be connected to vampirism, such as with variations of cotards. while specific lore vastly varies across time and genres, vampires are typically seen as secluded, shapeshifting, generally gothic, enhanced physical capabilities or supernatural circumvents to physical disability, immortal, and weak to the sun, wood, and tools of spiritual cleansing
