for one of my concepts for Phoebe, as a sheltered wealthy child who was taught she was special her whole life, an important part of her character is that she unlearns a LOT of things including classism, gender roles, prejudice (her family HATES Corona, it's a long story), basically everything that upper class noble life has taught her. Phoebe is the one who at first feels "behind" in terms of emotional maturity compared to the rest of the group, because she never quite learned it properly
A huge part is that a "spoiled brat", a stubborn, vain person like Phoebe learns and expresses empathy and understanding the feelings of others, which plays a core part in her powers because the Starpearl—aside from gravity and levitation—is all about connecting your feelings to another being, feel their emotions, and to inspire and calm them from distress, anger, fear, etc.
