These vegan brie-stuffed pretzels are a delightful twist on the classic soft pretzel. The combination of gooey vegan brie, savory dough, and aromatic rosemary makes them irresistible for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon instant yeast. 1/2 teaspoon sugar. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup warm water. 1/4 cup vegan brie-style cheese, diced. 2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted. Sea salt, to taste. Fresh rosemary, chopped, for garnish.
Instructions: Put flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix them together. Knead the dough until it turns into a smooth mass as you slowly add warm water. Put the dough somewhere warm with a lid on top and let it rise for 30 minutes. Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Split the dough into 4 equal pieces. Make a rope out of each piece and then flatten it. In the middle of each flattened dough, put some diced vegan brie cheese. Cover the cheese with the dough and fold it over it. Cut out a pretzel shape from each piece of dough. Put the pretzels on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. Melt some vegan butter and sprinkle it on top of the pretzels. It should be baked for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it turns golden brown. After taking it out of the oven, sprinkle it with chopped rosemary.
