I'm thinking of visiting Oregon because I've never been and it's kind of a dream of mine to live in the northwest! What do you recommend seeing/doing there? Also, side note, you and I wear the same bra size ☺️ just discovered your blog and I love it!! Thanks!
You should totally visit! It’s amazingly beautiful here. Here’s some places I would recommend seeing! •The gorge (beautiful nature, tons of waterfalls/rivers/etc, if you want a quick visit hit Multnomah falls-but be prepared for it to be busy, also there’s lots of websites w info on diff hikes and falls! My personal fav hike is Oneonta!) •Pips donuts!! (If you reeeeally want to go to voodoo and be that tourist that’s fine, just go at a weird time so it isn’t as packed, and don’t be too sad if they’re stale bc it’s hit and miss w voodoo on that.) Another good donut place is Heavenly Donuts! (Dunno if that’s other places or not?) •Burgerville! (Fast food chain, but better than normal fast food. Is fresher and local!!!!! Only here in the PNW and worth it. Def recommend any of their in season stuff, ESP milkshakes/smoothies!) •Downtown/The waterfront! (There’s lots lots lots of cool places in Portland in general, the water front is amazingly beautiful for a stroll, and you can visit the Saturday market depending on time of year! It’s in the morning/early afternoon at waterfront) •Hawthorne! (Lots of cool shops, thrift shops, coffee shops, be sure to have the ability to parallel park, or be ready to walk 4/5 blocks for decent parking) •The zoo! (Usually when I’ve gone the animals are hiding, but still a good time!!!)
All else fails use the google!! These are just a few places off the top of my head! Portland is full of cool little places, lots of local stuff and beautiful nature. If you go somewhere else I don’t know as much about it simply cause I don’t go as often, but the Internet can be awesome for planning trips!!
