Submit me your communication via the submit button.
Include your character’s name and where your character is from in the text line.
You must submit your own work.
Your communication can be a video, photos, or writing
Your communication must be no longer than 30 seconds, 250 words, or no more than 10 photos.
If you’re sending multiple photos, you’ll need to collage them onto one page, since you can only submit one photo at a time.
Make sure to follow the communication parameters when creating your communication.
For every communication after your first you must take a color and an emotion from someone else's communication and incorporate it into yours.
You must wait for 3 communications from others to appear before you can submit a new communication.
After 3 of your communications have been posted, ask someone else a question about themselves. To do this, write the question down, take a picture of it, and submit that photo. That person must answer in a subsequent post.
I can alter the main rules any time I want. I am one of The Sickle that Weeps, after all. I just want to harvest as much as I can.
Please do invite more people to play
It does get so lonely here.
Everything has to be submitted to me for approval.
Please don’t make anything violent or pornographic. If it’s difficult and tastefully nude, that’s ok. Just remember, the images and videos are public.
Follow the rules and guidelines of Tumblr and any other site you might use to host your images or sounds (vimeo, youtube, facebook, instagram, twitter, soundcloud, vine)
This isn’t really a competition. Things don’t have to look professional or amazing or live up to any standards your world might reinforce. Think of it as an experiment. This is just for fun.
I can give you some advice on how to make things look interesting though. Ripe for harvest.
Use your phone camera, an actual camera, or your webcam. All these will work.
Must be original artwork made by you.
Use a neat photo filter, edit afterwards, or make things not entirely in focus. That makes them look pretty neat.
Be thoughtful about your colors. Pick one or two to focus on, or create a color palette.
Try different angles and perspectives. Try shooting from above, below, far, and near.
Don’t have the subject/object of your images be directly in the center of the screen. Vary their placement in different areas of the screen.
Consider what’s in the background. Show as much or little as you’d like.
Add in sound or music during or afterwards if you want!
Try to have between 3-10 different shots. They can be photos or video.
Send them to me however you can, in whatever format you can.
Having trouble? Ask Me Anything. There’s a link, friend.
