The soft buzzing of an old, yellowing light continuously sounds as very few customers finish their shopping. This tiny corner store is home to many knick-knacks, but not much luxuries, making for most customers visits to be less than ten minutes long. This includes Mr. Chantara, who's only stopped by for a pack of new batteries and some soda.
The day was long. Not that he finds it a chore to play with those kids, he absolutely adores it, but it certainly takes a tole on his body. His shoulders and back ached like stones are pressing into them, and his knees and feet felt close to popping off his body. All Sunny wants to do is get what he needs and get out, as he usually does. ...Thing is, this isn't a usual night. //ENJOOOYYY-

Her feet hit the tile as she covered her ears as the voices grew louder and louder almost like a concert around her full of disembodied voices.
“She’s here.”
“Help us!”
“Hide!”
“Run!!”
“You got to get out!!!”
“Why are you here??”
Whispers and warnings surrounded her as if they came from all directions, growing increasingly louder and louder. She heeded their warnings as she quickly darted into a store, hiding in a clothings rack, whispering, “where do I go..?” She curled up in fetal position as she listened to her surroundings, squinting as the whispers grew to loud conversations around her. “Shhhhh please they might hear you…I-I can’t understand—“ she worriedly said as she glanced around.
