Get back Up Again || Will & Amy

Amy:Doing nothing wasn't part of Amy's DNA. Taking a break was a complete foreign concept to her and an almost painful experience too. But who was she to contradict her fierce and faithful nanny/friend/all around superwoman... and a doctor or two. Exhaustion had been the actual diagnostic, and no matter how intently the actress would fight, Dawa wasn't having any of it and forced her to stay in bed -with the only exception to go to the washroom or move to the couch-. And it was torture. After one or two days spent watching Say Yes To The Dress all day and a few cooking show, the blonde was already bored out of her mind. She was suddenly surprised by the sound of the door opening. Didn't the other woman barely only left to get groceries? "Dawa? Did you forget something?" she called out from her forced spot on the living room's couch.

Square one || WillAmy

Most of the time, Amy made it her top priority to be there for her children before et after school. She’d get up sometimes hours before when she needed to be just so she could be the one to shake them up from their slumber and fix a couple of toasts and some oatmeal, even with Dawa around. But this morning, when her alarm went off, she opted for lazying around instead. For the first time in what seemed like forever, she didn’t feel the crushing weight of 'what fresh hell will today have me deal with?’ on her shoulders and decided to revel in it a little longer. The blonde stirred a little in bed, reaching for the other mass laying next to her. “So, that’s weird.” she mumbled, but smiling a little. Over their separated years, they had ‘reunited’ a bunch of times, but nothing felt quite as intimate and huge as waking up together knowing that sleeping was the obly thing they did this time. That hadn’t happened in years, and Amy found it was pretty easy to fall right back into old habits as she ran her fingertips lightly over Will’s back as she had so many times.

The New Normal || WillAmy

Amy wasn’t too sad that her day had been cut shorter than she had planned. While some of her meetings had been really productive and promising great thing for the growing online community she had been passionately creating for a few years now, the last ones of the bunch had been a little underwhelming and ended quite abruptly. Far from letting herself feel down about it, the comedian chose to see the upside of it all: she would actually get to let the nanny have some well deserved time off for the night and have dinner home with her boys and, surprisingly enough, their father. Things with her ex-husband had been complicated to say the least, too much unfinished business between them, but whenever the boys were there between them, it seemed to take the animosity out of the equation mostly, and she’d be lying if she didn’t admit that she enjoyed nice moments with the man. And to his credit, he had always been a great father, so no matter what her personal feelings for the man were, she wouldn’t purposefully do anything to damage their relationship, which is why she had called him to offer he spend the day with them while she was working. “Dawa? Will?” she called out as she walked in. “I’m home early! Are you guys in?” The house was oddly quiet until a loud shrill little laugh she identifies as Archie’s cam from down the hall, followed by tiny feet on the floor. The little redheaded boy ran up to her and without even a hello, grabbed Amy’s hand to pull her after him “Mom come look at what Dad’s doing! It’s hilarious!” What choice did she have but to follow Abel down the hall to the play room?

[Text] Um. I mean, physically, sobrang pumula ka at nagpapawis. Otherwise, you were. I don’t know. Medyo the same pa naman. Except that you wouldn’t stop drinking the Mango shake kahit parang nafeel mo na that it was spiked (you drank like 3-4 glasses). Ano pa ba. I told you stop and you called me KJ, haha. Tapos, this girl flirted with you, but I didn’t hear what happened. So. Yeah. You just kind of disappeared in the midst of so many chaotic events.
