So I have a friend (coughcoughcough - it’s @aimtoallonsy - coughcoughcough) who keeps showing me this brilliant Captain Canary fic she’s writing, and it’s so inspiring (note: hot and sexy with sexual tension through the roof) that I immediately started thinking about how the prompt she received could be used with the Doctor and Rose. Many messages later, there are words in my head, and I need to be packing, but DANG IT, I want to be writing this. 

Having writer friends is sometimes (note: always) really dangerous, especially when they’re writing for different fandoms, because then the prompts they get inspire, “Oooooh, what would that be like for the Doctor and Rose....” And yeah, downward spiral.
