I want to give a shout out to my friends from college. I have a new employee I hired who is a bona-fide musical theater artist and singer who I would normally have nothing to talk about with EXCEPT that I spent time with theater/music majors who didn't care that I was the brainy humanities major with social anxiety that translated to aloofness and gave me their time anyway.

So thank you, you wonderful individuals for sharing with me your world and helping me not be afraid of being awkward. Thanks to you I am able to talk fluently with this employee and create that bond.
