We did get out to Viñales, a valley a few hours west of Havana for an afternoon. We were pulled over by the police for an hour or two which ended up being an ordeal for our driver, but we eventually found our way here, a tobacco farm. Interestingly, family tobacco farms are allowed to keep 10% of their crop for private sale. These cigars tend to be organic vs something like a Cohiba which, unfortunately, includes preservatives and the like.
