“Especially Carlos”
Carlos is especially worried about John?
And he’s having trouble with flirting with another cute boy??
Hmmm… I’m not saying that Carlos is in love with John but…
Carlos is in love with John
John you’re not even stitched up fully. Why cant handle Carlos hands on your bare chest?
hey so I saw your post on head canons for isaac and nigel. and I was wondering if you could do another one but this time head canons for isaac and nigel smutty edition?
You are definitely warned that you should continue at your own risk. I'm not really a good writer of that genre, but here's my thoughts. Good luck!

There comes a heavy sigh as his back presses to the wall, frosty eyes sliding shut as he manages to give himself just enough of a break to catch his breath. Combat was never really a pleasant experience but it was certainly something that at this point he’d grown rather used to. It was perpetually becoming more and more of a resting state for him which perfectly explained this polar shift between himself and Danse.
Once before they were the soldier and the diplomat for all intents and purposes and now it seemed they were swapping. Both of them had BEEN soldiers but the role of a soldier was something of a flex title these days. Everyone was a soldier if it meant they would stay alive.
Needless to say they had to make it back to the Castle fast. The last thing they needed was some ugly bastard mutant knocking at the Castle door, and he was certain the sentries had just changed which made his worry seem all the more weakened by the strength security he had in the defenses of what he’d grown to call home now.
“...final stretch. Just a bit further. We’ll need cover fire so we have a clear path back to the Castle walls.”

I can't help it. It's scratching at my brain.

Rec from YAGKYAS Past (2011)
YAGKYAS 2013 stories go up December 21st! Until then, we mods are going to toss a rec at you from YAGKYAS stories of the past. We’re going in order of the challenges, so we shared a favorite from 2009, and a favorite from 2010, and tonight, it’s a fave from 2011:
insunshine wrote for marycontraire - throw your back into it [Stafford/Christeson, 2648 words, NC-17]
Why we love it: For what's usually a background pairing, there was a delightful selection of Stafford/Christeson stories in YAGKYAS 2011. Insunshine takes us to life after the invasion, and does an incredible job of developing Stafford's internal voice and his perspective on the world. It's so easy to believe that Christeson would follow Stafford when they're stateside just as he did when they were in country, and the way they find each other--and something of themselves--is written with humor, realism, and charm.
A sample:
His guest is a guy with short hair and a white, buttoned shirt. He has his hands in his pockets. He's standing totally still and Stafford can tell who it is just from the collar. When he opens the door, it's just a little, and he says, "We don't want any," because Christeson is really easy to fuck with.
Go forth! Read it! Then tell us your favorite story from YAGKYAS 2011, either with a reblog or in the ask. If you drop us an ask, give us the title and author, and we’ll get the link set up for you in the reply. Damned ask box and it’s anti-link stance. It’s Un-American, I tell you.
