Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and the South of France lost all power yesterday at 12:30 am.
Things are still being solved, and we don't really know what happened, but I felt extremely compelled to write about what happened during those hours.
We're scholars. We spend our time reading, learning, looking back as well as forward, expanding our knowledge, learning new languages, new facts, old remedies. But the truth is, we're living through history right now. And after experiencing it first hand, I believe it is also for us to make way for those who will come after us. To leave a record of what has happened, of where we were and who we are. So people can keep on learning, so they can keep on growing, so they can know what happened to those who were in the middle of everything, as well as what happened to the ones who weren't.
