I have two separate friends getting married in the near future and one of their registries can be best described as White People Things and the other one's is 75% board games.
Creating a wedding registry when you both grew up viewing any request as a burden.....
I'm an adult but I mooch off my mom's Amazon account because why wouldn't I? My siblings do all too. Anyway, I am preparing for a wedding and my little sister is gearing out to pop out a human so we're both making registries, right?
What if I just accidentally added my desired knife set to her baby registry? Would that be chill? Would that be cool?
Just saw a wedding registry where the couple registered for those clip-on bedside shelves people use for bunk beds and I’M SCREAMING
[I/D: Top image: Amy and Rory in the TARDIS. Text: “Doctor, this time could we lose the bunk beds?”

On one beautiful moonlit evening...
Scratch that. On one random evening, Si sent Tea a message online. (This is not a Tinder story.)
In a little corner of the internet, a friendship bloomed. From bonding over things like Stranger Things and their bond as Black Biracial individuals, occasional messaging turned into 24/7 messaging.
Though neither one would admit it, feelings grew. There was no point in letting the other know though, there were 504 miles between them.
However, after their first meeting when Tea visited Si for Winter Break, they could no longer deny their feelings. From there the relationship progressed as quickly as the miles between them allowed. They took every opportunity they could to see each other, making them experts at navigating airports along the way.
In May of 2019, Tea graduated college and Si moved in with her family for the summer. After a whirlwind summer of getting jobs and saving money, they moved across the country again to Detroit.
Tea started her first teaching job, Si navigated the new vegan eats, they learned what Tee Grizzley meant about "Joy Road" and survived COVID. All within their first year living together.
After the fourth holiday in a row of receiving a Spongebob-themed gift, Si realized they could see themselves spending the rest of their life with Tea.
While COVID didn't allow for a typical, public engagement, the private intimacy of a home proposal made it that much sweeter. (The rainbow helped). They didn't have to wait long to publicly announce their engagement on Tea's 24th birthday in Chicago where their first conversation about marriage (much too soon in the relationship) had happened.
Tea and Si are ready for their future together, and they can't wait to share their special day with you all in their own special way.

Looks like Duggar-Spivey wedding is April 16th 2021!
Many, many Anons also sent this in. Yes, indeed! There’s a confirmed registry for Justin + Claire’s Wedding... Here’s the link, for those who are curious. (We know it’s legit because it’s linked on Justin and Claire’s Instagram bios.)
As for the date... Y’all are right, the listed date is April 16, 2021. However, I’m hesitant to conclude that that’s the actual wedding date. The Duggars’ typical practice is to use a false, stand–in date on wedding registries. (This contrasts with baby registries, where the listed due date is usually the real one.) Maybe y’all remember Joy + Austin’s Wedding? Their registry used Joy’s Birthday as the “Wedding Date,” prompting rumors that they rescheduled from October to May at the last minute. John + Abbie also definitely used a fake date.
Beyond the history of fake dates... Justin + Claire (and Hilary) haven’t been at all open about the wedding date. They’ve been directly asked about the date via Instagram comments, and haven’t answered or given vague answers. My suspicion of the listed date will grow even more if Justin, Claire, and/or Hilary continue to dodge the question: “What is the date?” (Because if the real date is already on the publicly–shared registry, why not just tell people who ask?)
Finally... A lot of items are purchased off of the registry. As a person who has gotten married and bought wedding gifts, I can tell you that registries typically don’t look so picked over until closer to the Wedding Date.
For all these reasons, I’m skeptical about the April date. We’ll see!
Oh, also... The data! Almost forgot... If Justin + Claire did tie the knot on the 16th of April, they’d have been engaged for 157 Days. Currently, your typical Duggar Couple weds after 98 Days, and it varies by a Standard Deviation (SD) of only 16 Days. A 157 Day Engagement would be 59 Days and 3.7 SDs from that average, which is definitely an outlier. (But not impossible, obviously!)
