is that team your team you support? if so i'm so sorry, my heart would be broken into a thousand pieces if it was my team. you think of the players like family and the thought of them being hurt, or killed is a horrible nightmare. my thoughts are with them at this dreadful time

not really, no. the match they were playing tomorrow was actually against my club’s biggest rival, but i care a lot about south american football, especially in the context of tumblr, where it’s not popular at all. besides this happened in the area i live in and the last time we had an aircraft crash with such a high number of casualties was 20 years ago, so this hits really hard.

chapecoense is not really my team, true, but my heart is definitely broken because of this. football is such an important part of my life and the fact that tragedy came to it is really surreal to me. they really were living their dream and the fact that they made it to the finals was basically a stroke of luck.

my thoughts are with their families, really. it must be the hardest time of their lives.
