How To Achieve Natural Glowing Skin.
Everybody wants to have clear, glowing skin but not many people can active those things because they use the wrong stuff or over do things. Its important to understand that less is more and your diet plays an important role in your skin care. Here are some of my tips for natural glowing skin.
Know your skin: It is vital to identify the type of skin you have to achieve maximal effectiveness in order to achieve happy natural, glowing skin. The benefits of knowing your skin will allow you to make better choices in regards to what is suited for your skin. If you have dry skin, its important that you use foaming cream cleansers and penetrating moisturising to effectively moisturize, and not strip your skin of hydration. If you have oily skin, use skin balancing gel cleanser as well as moisturises to prevent breakouts.
Fruit and vegetables: Fruits contain heaps of fiber. It’s beneficial for your skin. Combining a meal or drink with vegetables as part of your everyday diet will definitely allow you to achieve a glowing complexion. Try to cut back on your dairy and meat intake and increase your fruits in order to do a natural detox to your body and your skin.
Drink plenty of water and moisturise: In order to flush on the toxins out of your body and keep hydrated you must be drinking at least 2L of water each day, more when you live in hot and humid conditions. If you have dry skin, drinking water will replenish and hydrate your skin making it visually softer and making many of your dry patches go away. Along with hydration, if you moisture your skin you will improve its elasticity and replenish your dehydrated skin. Also don’t forget to apply moisturise to your skin before you apply make up to help in go on evenly and naturally make it more glowy.
Exercise: Exercising boosts the body’s oxygen and blood flow to the skin. This will support the overall complexion of your skin as oxygen and blood flow flushes rosiness to your overall complexion. Exercise makes you sweat and as you sweat your body flushes out the toxins making your skin appear more glowy and natural while exercising and after. If you’re exercising outside, don’t forget your SPF.
Detox, Exfoliate and Cleanse: If you wear make up daily its important to take care of your skin and remove all of the make up before you go to bed. Start by removing your make up by cleansing, Cetaphil Cleanser is natural and easy on the skin. Every 2 weeks (or depending on your skin type) I use a mask on my face to refresh it and give it a radiance boost. I use the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask because it adds moisture to my skin. Exfoliating your skin is important, it removes dead skin cells making your skin breathe better and appear better, but don’t butcher it. So many people exfoliate too much and this leads to flaky dry skin. People with dry skin should be exfoliating once every 3 weeks max, because you already have dry flaky skin that craves moisture. People with oily skin can exfoliate once or twice a week, because the oils clog pores. Sometimes its better to your a chemical exfliant like the Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner, I swear by this stuff.
