Diving into the network in an attempt to find the cure to the virus that was to kill me was painful. The network was painful. I remember that it burned at my mind, searing it with so much information that I was completely overwhelmed. I knew too much within those moments, but it wasn't enough. I wasn't able to find the cure to the virus that killed me. And I had all but allowed Hojo to break my mind and steal my body. He used his knowledge and intellect from time his spent within the network to fracture my mind and sense of self even further. He kept me weak, trapped within my own body as he returned us and used the reactor to heal. For those three years, Hojo did all that he could to meld our minds together, so he could gain my knowledge of using my body and the abilities I was given through the experimentation done on me. He practically succeeded. He had whittled enough of me away that he was able to wake my body up and order for Omegas creation. Due to this, I have Hojo's memories. I have Weiss's memories. I have the planets memories.
It is only by my memories and emotions towards Nero that I can say with confidence that I am Weiss. Nero, my sweet little brother, my peace, my stars, my universe. It was only by thinking of Nero and holding onto my desire to see him again that I was able to have a sliver of myself remain. Nero, I owe my strength to you. But I still failed you. I'm sorry, Nero. I don't know how I could face you, after everything.
I want so badly, to be with you again. I want to have you in my arms again. I want to know if you've made it to this life, that safe and happy. I want to tell you I love you. I want to ask for your forgiveness in making you work so hard and unintentionally trapping to Deepground again when I wanted nothing more thank for you to be free. Truly, I don't know how I could face you, with all of my different faces and weaknesses. I'm sorry, that I'm no longer the Weiss that you knew and likely expected to return to you. I'm sorry that I left you alone for so long. I never wanted you to lose your life because of me.
Perhaps its the alcohol in my system or the fact that I've been thinking of this for a bit, that made this confession so long. So it's better off that I end it now, before I continue to type and become incoherent.
I'm sorry, Nero. I love you, so much. And thank you.
.
