A simple throw becomes a snare of iron. This dart blooms into a binding net mid-flight, pinning prey before they can flee. One word to unleash it and to ensure nothing escapes.
💬 Who would you try to capture with this ingenious little trap?
The Fire Obsidiant, a specialized type of obsidiant with the role of field artillery.

Also, here's a comparison with the first version of the idea made a year ago, which was put aside since I was unsatisfied with it.
During that period I had also reworked the texture itself of the general obsidiants.
The Blackblade is a slim but intimidating greatsword, with a dark history. Its creator, the warrior Dakkon, used his own blood to shape the weapon’s steel, and sacrificed hundreds of people to finish it.
Once it was complete, the Blackblade was used to rule through fear, and Dakkon himself was bound in servitude to Geyadrone Dihada, the sword’s true master. Eventually Dakkon would use the Blackblade to kill Piru, one of the few remaining elder dragons, instilling the sword with the dragon’s power as well.
In the end, the Blackblade was lost after the death of both Dakkon and Geyadrone, then recovered hundreds of years later and reforged. Stolen away from its resting place in New Argive by the Cabal, the Blackblade was used to slay the demon lord Belzenlok, before disappearing once more.
Magic Weapon. The Blackblade is a magic weapon that grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.
Random Properties. The Blackblade has the following randomly determined properties:
1 major beneficial property
1 major detrimental property
2 minor beneficial properties
Corrupt Touch. All attacks made with the Blackblade deal an additional 2d4 necrotic damage, or twice that much damage if the target is a dragon. In addition, the target’s hit points are reduced by an amount equal to the damage dealt, and you gain that many temporary hit points. A creature automatically dies if their hit point maximum is reduced to 0 in this way.
Life Eater. Any creature killed by the Blackblade has its soul sealed within the sword, and can’t be resurrected except through the use of the *wish* spell or other magic. When a creature is killed by the Blackblade, the weapon’s necrotic damage permanently increases by an additional 1d4.
Spell Resistance. While wielding the Blackblade, you have advantage on saving throws made to resist spells and other magical abilities, and all spell attacks made against you are made with disadvantage. In addition, you can’t be affected by spells of 5th-level or lower unless you choose to be.
Spell Shield. While attuned to the Blackblade, whenever you succeed on a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, or whenever you are targeted by a spell attack, the Blackblade absorbs some of the spell’s magic. This magic increases the Blackblade’s own strength, increasing its bonus to attack and damage rolls by a cumulative +1, up to a maximum bonus of +5. This bonus decreases by 1 each day at dawn, to a minimum of the original +1 bonus.

Whoa, what’s this? A post, from 5ecardaday? Incredibly, what a rarity! But what’s going on here? Didn’t I already cover the Blackblade Reforged forever ago, back in the beginning of Dominaria? Well, that’s true, I did. But you see, this Sunday marks the results of my first ever Artifact Rumble for my Weekly Patron Choice (or WPC). But what is an Artifact Rumble?
Well, the 3rd week of every month, my WPC gives my Patrons several franchises to choose from. For the winner, I look at some special magic items from that franchise, and convert them into Artifact-level rarity 5e magic items. This week, MtG won, which is lucky for you all since otherwise you wouldn’t see any of these. As a fun idea, I thought I would go ahead and convert some cards I’d already made as Legendary-rarity items into Artifacts instead! The first is Blackblade Reforged, which just came out as a meaner, more angry version of itself. I think it’s a good look for it though!
