I said “what the fuck is wrong with straight people” out loud while washing dog bowls in the kennel at 8 in the morning and I don’t know if anyone heard me

but given that I had just listened to a woman have a radio talk show host call her boyfriend and lie about him winning a free bouquet of flowers just to see if he’d send it to her, I feel like it was justified

pets that have to live in a whole different environment than me stress me the hell out, honestly, so I’ll probably never have fish again. there are so many things that can go wrong, and none of them are at all intuitive to land mammals. 

my roommate’s fish are doing well (except for the one my cat ate) but they’re a school of fish in a human suit so it doesn’t count
