Look where I spent my day!! 😍

Went on a spontaneous day trip today to West Bay - This is where Broadchurch was filmed!!!

OMG such a great day, so many lovely places, everything is so beautiful in this little coastal village and I found the hut, Hardy's house, the station, the caravan park and of course walked along the beach and underneath these GORGEOUS cliffs!!

I'll never forget that day! Wow!!

I'm seeing all these Broadchurch gifs and stuff and I'm just starting to glow and fizz with fucking excitement. Because FUCK I went to West Bay. Where they filmed it. Where they filmed Broadchurch. I fucking very sketchily took a picture of Alec's boat shack shed thing. And the police station. And I was just bouncing around cuz it's fucking Broadchurch. And I went down onto the beach under the bloody great cliffs and the sea and the rocks and... And AND it's fucking BROADCHURCH!

Erm can you tell I'm excited?

Sadly I couldn't see Ellie's house or the church and I didn't really have time to look for it because I was just passing by, but yknow still.

Of course had to have a 99 in front of the police station too;)

Generally it's a very pretty place and I have some rocks from the cliffs and fossils, so I'm happy:)

Last light on Burton Cliffs by Julian Barker Via Flickr: Sunlight was in such short supply on our visit to Dorset, I was prepared to accept any of it - especially in rationed amounts such as this! A long wait for a distant patch of blue was steadily blown across the water in the stiff south westerly wind, resulting in the low, dying sun poking its warm beam like a searchlight towards the sandstone of Burton Cliff. Unlike my previous image, this was a relatively simple process, as the only rain that we could see was falling far beyond the shore.
