Sabbatical Essay #Day 16: Poolside at Westin LAX
We flew back to LAX safely (after another lay over at Mexico City). We had Chinese food by the airport and I checked into the Westin by the airport. I was moving on the my second part of sabbatical trip but I was to return to LA before going back home so Laura took some of my stuff home with her that I won’t be needing while I camp in the wild Alaska.
Then I had a super relaxing day at the hotel, by the pool.
Ahhhh how I miss those kind of days.
This was before the movie Crazy Rich Asians came out. So I dream of future vacation where I’d be sitting by the pool under California sky and be all lazy. (Even though I always get too excited to get lazy when I travel)
