As if 𝚅𝙴𝙽𝙶𝙴𝙰𝙽𝙲𝙴 needed a chastising over a frivolous matter, though, unfortunately, the truth was right there before their eyes.

Avenger to man, the great ravenous Alastor was nearly vanquished by a holy blade. A seven-year hiatus had truly taken a toll on their strength and the recovery process that normally wouldn't take ages.

Their presence at the Hazbin Hotel has been quite scant recently, as if doing labor was a thing on their mind at all since anointing themselves as manager ; often retiring to their quarters and stepping out for the utmost importance of meetings. Husker had grown suspicious, but when was he ever not? Alastor thought that perhaps they should inform their feline friend of the conditions, but the damn thing was just an annoying little gash that would soon fade over.

But maybe the real threat had been Charlie all along and Alastor only failed to notice until it was too late. That sweet girl had a more observant eye than those around her knew and, of course, she would be the one to notice that 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚁𝙰𝙳𝙸𝙾 𝙳𝙴𝙼𝙾𝙽 wasn't so spry these days. She cared about 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 so, how could Alastor let that slip their apt mind? How could they? When Lucifer tells them that he's here to pick 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙼 up by Charlie's immovable request.
