Thoughts on Cardi B? I love her music (specifically her 2017-2020 output but the single she just put out was pretty good, don't chu think?). My favourite song from her is either Bodak Yellow (her debut and the first song to hit #1 by a female rapper) or Money. I feel like she came in a time when she was NEEDED in the mainstream. Cardi B made Nicki actually have to try again. She's just an all around great artist with great songs.

Free Holiday Advice

If you're feeling like asking someone you think you know well enough when they are going to get married

or have kids

or settle down

just don't.

It's not your business.

It's not like they don't know their marital, parental and career status.

It's not your job to police them on their martial, parental and career status.

It's probably a sore spot, that thing you're so eager to police them on.

It's terribly unkind to approach someone as a friend and tease someone about children you think they should be having, or the life they should be living, if they were you.

It's not something you're doing out of friendliness, or respect for boundaries, or respect for their own basic self-awareness and intelligence, like they didn't already know they don't have children, or someone to love or a meaningful direction.

If you were genuinely concerned as a friend you would say "Hey, how's it going?"

Instead of "Hey, why are you failing at life?"

So, unless you want to be the least popular person at the party

or enjoy seeing smiles slide from friendly to strained

or want a quick refresher course on your own faillings

or fewer people to talk to

or unhappy tears welling behind the eyes of someone you claim to care about

or just a simple glass of eggnog thrown in your face . . ..

Don't.

Just don't.
