Time to FLY
I’m not someone who needs a lot The walls around me, and roof above me don’t cover much ground But they cover me, and comfort me, and to me that’s all I need When I travel it’s not to a resort, the number of stars don’t excite me I live for the unknown, the adventure, the high of going somewhere unfamiliar My eyes have captured millions of moments that now rest inside my mind, that seem to make an appearance now and then to remind me of what I’ve seen, where I’ve been, and what I’ve done... And now that it’s been awhile since I’ve packed my stuff, and stamped my passport I’m getting that itch to fly With nothing to hold me back, no one stopping me, and a place to call home to return to...I’m thinking it’s time to spread the wings.
