I was on the bus earlier today, and a couple of really young college girls got on and sat next to me. They asked for directions to some restaurant, and I told them where the bus was going, what stop to get off at, which transfers to take, everything they needed to know, and when I got off at my stop they said "thank you, sir."

I'm 28! Do I really look that old? I mean, yeah, sure, I guess I have a full decade on these girls, but "sir?" I know I'm not a kid anymore, but this is what put it in perspective for me.
