What you see here are two whiskey cakes with icing to drizzle. In a nutshell, this is a classic bread pudding with whiskey. I kid you not. Before this day, I never had bread pudding. I had heard of it. And, being the brokest bitch in nursing school at the time, I watched some of my other classmates feast on bread pudding at this country restaurant in Jefferson, Texas years ago. I did not want to go. But, I got dragged there anyway. As I watched them feast on the bread pudding, I could not only help to enjoy the savory smells drifting my way. Not only that, I kept it in the back of my mind to remember this moment and get some bread pudding with whiskey in the future. Fast-forward 22 1/2 years.
