I pretty much buy as much older #suntorywhisky as I can, when I can, it’s a gut feeling. About 3 years ago I was about to go down the road of #ichirosmalt but Instagram expert @caskd.co told me there were too many of them. I listened and went into #michterswhiskey pretty deep and last year my #gutcheck bet started to show good potential returns, especially the #michters 25. Then look at the #whisky auctions lately and the #ichirosmaltchichibu seem to be losing steam, I honestly think they just released way too many of them. #whiskyauction sites have really been good to me over the years, and provide good insight into pricing of #whiskies. I picked all these up on #whisky auctions because it was highly unlikely to find in a store and the prices were good. You can still find a deal on the #auction site, but main objective is too find something hard to find, so you might pay a little extra. Just like anything else in the last 5 years prices have gone up. #whiskywednesday and the #whisky secondary market and #whiskyauction push bottles higher and higher. As I am primarily a #whiskyinvestor and close second a #whiskylover it makes me love and hate it a little. Both these #whiskies continues to climb, I have had the #bookers30thanniversary and it’s really great #bourbon, the #Hibiki 30th anniversary is a really great design, quite a difference, both are art but the ones are is the #whiskey inside. I don’t see this stop anytime soon, as the demand continues to grow, with more people becoming #whiskydrinks.
