"I don't remember you." It's said after giving her a once over with a tired, detached look. The steady beep of the heart monitor threatens to lull him to sleep as the nurse next to him inserts an IV drip.

The fuck did he just say? 

White was understandably pissed. Childhood friends just don't forget their childhood friends, even when morphine is pumping through their vines. 

So, White grabbed him by the shoulders and slapped Black's face until he woke back up.

"You asshole! Don't go to sleep after saying that!" She screams into his face. "Stop being so dramatic over a tonsillectomy! I know morphine causes memory loss, but this is fucking ridiculous!"

"Ah, thank you for letting me know!" White waved Blue off. She knew she was going to die; everyone dies eventually. So, without much thought, White stepped out into the street and that's when the bus hit her. 

Maybe trying to break the world record for walking with a blindfold on was a bad idea.
