Saku scowled, eyebrows scrunched in frustration or anger, he couldn't tell. He was gritting his teeth and his eyes narrowed to obscure the mixed emotions that were on public display. "Miss him? Tch. That fool probably is having the time of his life away from me. Why should I miss him when he sure as hell doesn't miss me? I did him a favor. He didn't get stuck with a parasite like me. Only hurting others for his own benefit."

He eyed the anon with an expression of contempt and slight suspicion. "You're asking me to apologize to a man who refuses to see my face? I threw everything away and he threw what I threw back at me. Regardless, the way he claimed to love me was simply platonic. A day or two with a woman who cares about him and he'll be gone from my sights forever—as if he isn't already."

He gazed upon the ring in his open palm. It was silver and had a crude engraving that looked like it was done with something's claw. "I do miss him, but what can I do? I couldn't have possibly condemn him to a life with me. At any rate, he was close to giving up. I saw it. The way his usually bright eyes dulled slightly and how he was getting more and more fed up. If he could barely handle me now, what can be said when I have one of my special days?"

Saku now confronted the grey figure head on. "I will apologize if he comes to me first. I still have my pride and I'm not ready to grovel just yet."
