I made an AU by accident lol

(I wanted to draw that iconic scene from the movie Logan but with Vanellope and Turbo and I ended making an AU because I thought it was a good idea and the idea grow stronger in me (I hyperfixated to much I'm sorry)

The main idea of this improvised AU is that the characters from the movie are reimagined in the real world, so to speak, but they still keep their original traits. Ralph works as a construction demolisher and is the father of Vanellope, and they live in a quiet neighborhood. His neighbor is Felix, an architect who is married to Calhoun, a police officer. Felix and Ralph have known each other their whole lives, so they treat each other like brothers. But their other neighbor is Turbo, who has a very bad reputation.

One day, Vanellope discovers that her mysterious neighbor Turbo used to be a famous race car driver, and she finally finds someone with whom she can share her passion for racing. The problem is that this someone is Turbo, and Ralph doesn’t like the idea that his daughter suddenly develops an obsession with racing like him—and that she’s constantly seeking Turbo’s attention so he can mentor her, teach her about racing, and become her guide.

The general idea is that Turbo turns to illegal racing because that’s how he makes a living nowadays, which is why he has such a bad reputation. Everything changes when he discovers that Vanellope had been sneaking out of her house to follow him and watch him race. That makes him angry, and he repeatedly rejects Vanellope’s request for him to become her mentor.

When he has to drive back home after a race with the kid in the passenger seat, he usually stops at gas stations to buy some fast food. He may have a bad temper, but this is his way of saying, “I’m only doing this because you’re the daughter of that big useless guy Ralph, and I don’t want any more trouble with him.”

(I draw a lot of scenes like this but I didn't finished yet)

I'm making a comic about how it started this whole mess of being her mentor... I dont know how im going to finish it but I already started with 3 pages in one day. If I hadn't a job it would be more easy lol but anyways I'm going to touch grass before I lost my sanity. Thank you for reading if you read this far and sorry for the broken english

Bit of a rushed piece, just a tiny bit... would've spent more time on it if I had the patience for my personal projects but I'm still very happy with it

Oh Vanellope how I adore you... I love seeing people's interpretation on how exactly Turbo took over Sugar Rush and while I don't have a specific scenario in mind atm, I still keep picturing Turbo breaking in the castle and either getting to the Code Room... or getting to the princess first
