I think that’s because people with large noses and curly hair aren’t really misrepresented in media also like there’s a big difference between drawing someone’s nose smaller and erasing someone’s skin color??

Neil’s nose is part of his character though, if you are his fans, you should want him to be drawn like he is supposed to look and not want to “improve” things and use “art style” as an excuse. Max in the show is orange, Indian people have different shades, so when people don’t want to draw Max orange, but decide to color him one of the other shades of the race he is supposed to be, it is different. As I said, I am not talking about people who draw Max white. People get angry when Max’s hair is drawn wrong too, I’ve seen that, but it is okay to draw Neil’s hair and nose wrong? Just admit you guys don’t like his actual character design or that he is a stereotype Jewish kid with a big nose, so you make your own OC versions of him to make yourselves feel like you are being progressive, when really you are erasing what his actual character traits and personality is.

tbfh as a lesbian who's tried animating before it's?? Really fuckin' difficult so I completely understand the non-inclusion of the lesbian flag. It's not really offensive to me and people in the notes of that post word it better but in conclusion; that anon was Wack.

I do have to agree and it also reminds me about how I worry that sometimes a lot of my characters are straight and there isn’t enough representation in terms of LGBT within my characters but also feeling that the personality matters more than the sexuality. I mean, I still kinda worry that people will be mad at me because people want almost all of my characters to be LGBT and not care about any of their personalities
