Just another bean for Wish Park

He doesn’t remember anything of his ‘Past Life’. All he knows is that he’s kind of part of a Haunted Mansion-esque attraction and that he can’t leave his post for very long. What he Doesn’t Know, is he was a Pikachu who came into Wish Park to expose Valencia and Dionysus and their Not So Nice Park. Valencia got ahold of him. :’)

since valencia isnt a legendary, how did she manage to get mixed up in the whole business of setting up wish park?

She reached out to Dionysus for a wish!

She wanted a small boost to her power and gained his interest when she exercised her own magic to do him a favor in return. He hangs around her for a while, especially because she asks for so little, and he kind of uses her asking small wishes to loophole grant things for himself. She was fascinated by him and extremely passive about it all so happily played along. They end up attached to each other and Wish Park is actually her idea- he’d wanted to do more grandiose things, trying to influence her into doing More, which she’d turned down because she doesn’t like active roles like that, but she did want him to Have Fun. So she wished for a little zone all their own where the rules were more lenient and they could do whatever they wanted more freely. :^) Half of her magic was invested in its creation, too!

tell us 'bout that handsome man ichabod - has anythin changed from what youve put up in the past? and how is he actually involved in wish park?

So his background is still the same- he was alive in the 30s and worked as a stagehand before an unfortunate accident in which he fell from the catwalks. He doesn’t really remember dying, he just wakes up a century later in the shell of the old theater and has to spend some time trying to find his bearings in this loud, bright new world. Where the nightclub, and subsequently Wish Park, comes in is when he meets Dionysus.

Now, for context, Wish Park is from PokePark 2- it was created by a Darkrai, run by a Gothitelle, and the gimmick was that it was a little pocket dimension and all of the attractions in it would hypnotize people into staying Forever. Our adaptation is a sort of resort-slash-amusement park and uses a Jirachi, obviously (it just makes sense!!) with more of a subtle magic atmosphere that keeps people from wanting to leave over time, and prolonged exposure is what makes it so dangerous. But there’s so much to DO at Wish Park, why wouldn’t you want to spend more time there?? :)

Ichabod has always wanted to be an entertainer; he wanted to be an actor from childhood, and grew more fond of the (more attainable) dream of being a host to a music club. So, when he happens into the opportunity to make a wish, his Dream, he takes it, even when he’s told that all of Dionysus’s wishes come with an Exchange. The club is not *inside* the park proper-which is a little dimensional bubble that travels the world and can be accessed through certain doorways- the club is actually an achor point to it. All he’s expected to do is have one of those doorways, and generate traffic through to the Park! He just didn’t understand what that would Truly mean until it was far too late.

He tries not to think about it too much; he loves the club dearly, the bouncer and park doorman provided to him are now great friends of his (and the bouncer a little more ;3c) and he meets so many exciting people! Just... don’t look at the ugly side of his work.
