it's new year's eve! (for me at least lol)
i haven't made an end of year post in a LOOONG time, i think my last one being around the end of 2023 lol, mainly because 2024 was NOT my year, I went through a rough split with my previous relationship and a bunch of other personal things. GLAD THAT'S LONG OVER LMAO.
2025 was a rather up and down year for me, definitely better than last year, I got to improve more on my art, I took a nightly language class for a few months, and i've got to talk to some new people and make new friends, the highlight of my year though, was getting into a new, fun and exciting relationship. @oddpizza and I have offically started dating on the 16th of March of this year, the day after my 21st birthday, It has been nothing but absolute joy, wether it would be texting or calling each other, Odd's been such an incredible partner! And sure, while the only downside of our relationship is it being a long distance one, i'm surprised how well it has worked out for us! Everytime we talk about plans for when I finally get her down here in Australia for a holiday, it makes me more excited for when that day finally comes.
Everytime that I feel down or out of it, I remember that I have a wifey cheering me on from miles away and it makes me giggle and kick my feet. i'm relieved as hell that I've got through another year (which btw went SO damn fast) but i'm even MORE proud my partner getting through the year.
I'm cannot wait to see what 2026 will bring, i'm positive it'll be somewhat of a breather year, and i'm SOOOO excited to spend it with my mutuals, my friends, and especially my girlfirend! 💞
