Lee Young Joon (WWWSK)
How I feel about this character
This man. This. Man. What a giant fucking loser he is in the best possible way. As you know, because you and @sorry-bonebag cursed me with the kdrama obsession, the thing that really got me in to kdramas is the fact that the men are capital L, Losers. What I really loved about Lee Young Joon’s loserdom in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is that he never loses his ego or self-confidence throughout the whole series and we still get to learn about all of the ways in which he has been selfless his entire life.
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
Kim Mi So, and Kim Mi So only. Mostly because she is the only one that can actually handle his shit. I would not make anyone else have to deal with this man, good lord, can you imagine?
My non-romantic OTP for this character:
I want Young Joon to become best friends with both of Kim Mi So’s sisters. He’s already pretty friendly with her dad, but I think he deserves a full character redemption arc from the people who kept talking shit about him when he was accidentally within earshot. Also they would get him so drunk and bully him in to so many silly little outfits.
My unpopular opinion about this character:
I think he should have murdered his fucking brother. Fuck that guy.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:
I mean…
I WISH HIS PARENTS WEREN’T SUCH BIG PIECES OF SHIT THAT THEY LET HIS OLDER BROTHER PLAY THE FUCKING VICTIM IN THE KIDNAPPING AND THAT YOUNG JOON FELT THE NEED TO PRETEND TO HAVE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING IN ORDER TO TRY TO KEEP HIS FUCKING FAMILY TOGETHER. I HAVE NEVER WANTED AN ENTIRE FAMILY TO STEP ON LEGOS BAREFOOT MORE IN MY LIFE. LEE YOUNG JOON’S FAMILY IS ONE OF THE WORST FAMILIES IN THE WORLD AND I WISH HE WOULD LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND.
