✏ - Why did you choose your muse?

i thought on that the other day. i belive i was reading some gendry x arya fics ( . . . scandalous! ) and Jaqen made a cameo. it brought back a wave of 'oh, i forgot about this man' and i, having already been in the asoiaf role play part of tumblr, made a blog.

i suppose we are fairly similar in many regards and i don't find it too challenging to write him.

☆ - How did you go about getting a grip on your muse’s character?

i am in the midst of re-reading acok and i read jaqen / the faceless men / arya meta posts and wiki pages on a nearly daily basis. sometimes minor details escape me, ergo the pages are bookmarked on my chrome toolbar, but i am still trying to get a grip. i do not belive that i will ever get a true grasp of the man, but i am all right with that. after all, he is no one, is he not?

♎ - What is one thing you love about your writing?

why, this sounds conceited and i think i might have looked over this question when reblogging the prompt.

if i had to choose something, i would choose my vocabulary. i suppose a large part of it could be condensed into shorter words and sentences, but i feel that a more eloquent choice of words and longer sentence structure ( . . . no pun intended ) suit Jaqen better than the alternative choices.

✾ - What do you look for in other people’s writing?

i look for people who do not bend characterization for interaction. ( unless it's an AU, of course. ) i love replying to someone and wanting a specific reply, but being given one more realistic; it shows me that said partner is focusing on their character and i love that. a lot.
