No revolution
There is no revolution, there never was - or maybe there is, but it doesn't want to be seen?
The existence that revolts upon the road of my soul. This is the moment to shatter my moral law.
Away from here, away from this world made of hardened fictions. And I know I'll come back around again, but that is not important.
This is the moment to make the move as an outlaw - to shut it down and go. This is the moment of the man in revolt.
Away with words, here one must run, here the revolution, here the reformation, here the reconstruction.
Away with fear and trembling, just the leap as an outlaw to be made - right now. On the horizon I see a new Sun, there, before me lies another life.
Mine has begun and already ended on the long bridge behind me. I see it waiting at the end
even as time keeps its pistol ready in the holster. And I go toward it without having to turn and overturn myself.
I rarely share the context in which I write; a poem should find its meaning in the eyes of the reader. However, the inspiration for this “outlaw jump” is deeply connected to a recent betrayal and this song:

Struck slightly dumb by the realization that, for the first time since my early teens, I think i have a single Favorite Song.
It won't be my Favorite forever, I'm far too adhd for that, but it's... it's novel to have a singular Favorite.
And then turns out that your favorite bands are from Sparta, Tennessee and Ithaca, NY and wtf, man?
