I wish people understood that being a system doesn’t inherently make you feel less alone
We can try to help each other out as much as we want, but, no matter what we do, we’re all still trapped inside the same derailing train

“A little jealous now, are we cutie?”
Matt looked over at Jensen before starting to pout. He didn’t like that the other smelled like an omega that wasn’t him, it made him want to cry. So instead, he looked away.
“Why are there so many mentally ill people all of the sudden?”
There’s a few dozen different reasons, but we could start with the fact that it’s socially expected to treat children as subhuman
I need people to stop thinking of “the evil alter” as, like, a murderous mastermind and instead start thinking of them as “funky little freak with self-esteem issues and bad coping skills”
Is DID my main problem or is it that every single person in this system has a disorganized attachment style?
i want to go home
but how could i
when home has only ever been a fantasy to me

Matt had sent some of Jensen’s coworkers to take him out for lunch, so he could make the man a proper birthday cake before the man came home. That morning he hadn’t said happy birthday, pretending he had forgotten so he could surprise the man later. It was about noon, he figured the man should be back anytime and the cake was sitting on the counter waiting for them. Matt made sure to be in his prettiest lingerie with just one of Jensen’s shirt over top. When he heard the door open he leaned on the counter with a smile. When Jensen came into view, his smile widened. “Happy birthday, daddy.”
