The Samurai and the Speechless

Fandom: Mega Man (Mega Man Megamix/Gigamix Manga) Pairing: Ariga!Yamato Man/Reader Form: Headcanon Requested: Yes Extra: Reader is mute. Reader is as shy as a frightened deer (similar to my Cut Man x reader hcs). The Sixth Numbers know about Yamato Man's feelings for Reader. First two hcs take place during the Copy Mega Man arc. Slight robogore warning for the first hc. Imagine...

Accidentally discovering a damaged, nearly-destroyed Yamato Man. Who's kneeling on the floor, armless and impaled by his own spear.

You quickly ran over to him and tended to the damage on his body, before helping him stand up without question (he thanked you afterwards for this. And that's the reason why he's walking and standing in tandem in that one panel of Megamix Vol.3)

Fast forward to the present day; his interest in you grew and grew every time he met up with you in private. Mainly because he was curious to why you didn't speak much, as well as the fact that you were as shy as he is.

Because he's allowed to fall in love (regardless if they're human or robot), he occasionally (and accidentally) spoke about you. And he secretly started to harbor a collection of trinkets and other things that reminded him of you.

Similar to Shadow Man, he would make haikus and sing Japanese love songs about his feelings for you and how your silence spoke volumes. But unlike the aforementioned Wilybot, he (reluctantly) allowed his fellow Sixth Numbers to read his haikus, and sheepishly confirmed that he harbored romantic feelings for you.

And so, they all teamed up to help Yamato Man confess his feelings for you. And lo and behold... it was successful. Yamato Man couldn't be more happy to have you as his lover.

"あなたの沈黙は、あたしの目に美しい言葉を語る。私の無言の桜。(Your silence speaks beautiful words in my eyes, my silent sakura.)"

I’ve done something unique for day 6, where I’ve drawn all of the Mega Man 6 Robot Masters as alien monster things

Tomahawk Man is a bird thing, Flame Man is a lizard thing, Knight Man is a fish thing, Wind Man is a cloud thing, Yamato Man is a beetle thing, Blizzard Man is a snow monster spider thing, Plant Man is a plant which is probably to be expected (he was hard to alter) and Centaur Man is a centaur (obviously) mixed with a hippocampus. I had fun doodling these guys and if ever requested I might do a proper drawing but for now they’re doodle sketches.
