Lmao sorry that TMNT:HME drabble was real sad so here's a couple fun facts:

- Leo loves movies. Even if they're hilariously bad. His favorite are 60s-70s romcoms! Yay!

- Mikey also looks movies but ONLY likes rom-coms. He is very selective on which ones as well.

-Raph and Donnie fall asleep during every. Single. Movie. Just pass out before it even gets halfway through.

-Splinter likes classic movies, his favorites are old historical romance movies. He has an interest in the history of the British royal family and has read dozens of books about them.

1. Why did you choose your url?

It's a very obscure reference to the movie 'Wilde'. There is this one scene where Oscar Wilde is talking to his wife while his son is crying very loudly. He basically flees and uses "I shan't be back till late, I'm dining with the Asquiths" as his excuse. Instead, he visits his lover Robbie Ross and the two of them have sex. So I use "dining with the Asquiths" as a euphemism for gay sex and therefore thought it would be a fitting url. 😆

2. Any side blogs?

I could have sworn I made @bandofsisters after watching Band of Brothers with @slashonmydash and @arc-en-disco, but I can't find it as my side blog anywhere. 🤔 It only has 1 post anyway, but I still love the username. 😁

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

Oh gosh... 9 years and 4 months.

4. Do you have a queue tag?

Nope! Not even back when I used to queue everything. But I do use a lot of other tags because I like to be organised. 😌

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Wayyy back in the day I was really into BBC Sherlock, and Tumblr suddenly was the place to be. I think I moved there from deviantART and LiveJournal. (Man that Sherlock fandom has not aged well imo lol.)

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

Oscar Wilde apparently decorated his rooms with objects like peacock feathers.

Learning about him and his life inspired me to try and accept/love myself more and not be ashamed/scared to show my true self. (Something I struggle with to this day.)

To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance, after all. 😊

7. Why did you choose your header?

Same reason lmao. Plus, peacock feathers look so prettyyy! ❤ I love their aesthetic. 😄

I actually don't follow back a lot because I like an uncluttered dashboard, but I do haunt certain tags (#armitagehux, #gingerpilot and #kylux mostly) and will often click on users to scroll through their wonderful blogs. 😊 So if we're not mutuals that doesn't mean I don't like you!!!! Au contraire, I pretty much adore everyone in this amazing (Hux/Gingerpilot/Kylux) fandom. ❤❤❤

Oh yes. I'm not an artist so my fandom contributions are mostly shit posts (and more recently, ficlets!). 😌

To my horror I was drawn into a discussion (about freedom of speech in writing/art) at the beginning of this year. It definitely made me reconsider what I initially said. Because I do listen to other people and am very willing to learn. 😊 Overall I dislike fandom drama and tend to stay far away from it.

15. How do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ posts?

The superstitious ones slightly annoy me. 😆

My heart goes out to the really important ones, but I'm more of an activist on my other social media accounts; my Tumblr blog is mainly my safe space for fandom, fun, venting and inspiration stuff. 😊

Yes, although I rarely do them because I'm terrified nobody will send me any lmao.

Not at the moment no. Fun fact: I once had a mutual that became my girlfriend. 😍❤ Sadly, I ended it many years ago, for various reasons. Still, I have many happy and fond memories of our time together. I feel very lucky to have had those experiences. Truth be told, nothing has ever come close to that, even though it certainly wasn't perfect. (And I do feel the occasional regret lol, but that's a pointless emotion.)

I spent about 2 days going ‘I have no inspiration, I have nothing to do, woe is my life. WOE, WOE AND THRICE WOE!’ and now I have three different crafting projects to work on, all with deadlines and far too much work involved, a book I’m halfway through, my Winterhawk Olympic Big Bang to write, an original fiction idea I want to write, a new D&D show I am binge watching, and a whole load of fanart I want to draw for it...

Because that’s the way life works.

“This is definitely not mine.”

1. 

Mkay, Darcy thought, staring at the ballet flats lined up very precisely next to her combat boots and house slippers. The shoe size was smaller than hers, and she definitely hadn’t been drunk enough to accidentally purchase such pretty (and probably expensive) footwear any time in the last five years. 

Also: there was a splatter of what was almost certainly blood on the toe of one flat. Darcy felt like she would have remembered the story behind that. 

Then something splashed upstairs.

“Uh, hello?” She called to her apparently not empty apartment. This is how the horror movie starts, she tried not to think.

“Darcy?” A decidedly human and decidedly familiar and decidedly female voice called back. From the bathroom. 

Darcy nabbed her taser (just to be safe) and cracked open the door. 

“Hi.” Natasha Romanoff, aka the Black Widow, aka Darcy’s Unrequited Crush of the last few months, was sitting in the bathtub.

Sitting in the bathtub, barefoot. Sitting in the bathtub, half her face bruised, with dried blood flaking from a cut on her shoulder. Looking cool as a cucumber in tac gear.

“Mkay,” Darcy said, this time out loud. “Can I…help you with that?”

2. (A continuation of the first Darcy Drabble, story 2. All you need to know is Shieldshock, and Steve got a shirt with Darcy’s taser on it, as a cute/cheesy holiday party thing.)

See, the thing was, it looked exactly like Darcy’s apartment. Iiiiiiif that Knitter supervillain from tumblr had been put in charge of the decor. And had a thing for Darcy’s taser. Ok, more like an obsession.

“Steeeeeeve?” She called. “I thought the t-shirt was a one-time deal?”

Darcy picked up a tazer-shaped pillow. Squeezed it. And nearly dropped it in surprise when it started to vibrate. “Or have you developed an electrocution kink, because I gotta say I’m surprised, but willing to negotiate?”

“Um.” Steve stood in the doorway, blinking bemusedly at the explosion of taser-related merch, wall hangings, table-pieces, and general electroshock paraphernalia. “No?”

He yelped when Darcy threw the vibrating pillow at his head. 

“A mystery! Now, who do we know with access to enough cash to pull this off? Or who was particularly upset about the taser-T at his Secret Santa party? I’m thinking it might be someone who’s upset that Pepper won’t accept so much as an Iron-Man mug…” she chuckled.
