GAYS LOOK WHO IT IS

you know what's better than getting hugs from others? getting a hug from YOURSELF! ( ah, wait. it sounds a little sad when it's put that way... oh, well! ) c'mon. bring it in.

now this is a hug he can get behind! one he doesn’t even have t’think about. sora hooks an arm around his other self’s shoulders, drawing him close so that their heads knock together a little. it doesn’t hurt (well, not much). he lets out a soft huff of laughter, grin tugging at the corners of his eyes so that they crinkle a little, and shifts so that the hug becomes a little more proper, more like a real hug. it was weird at first, sure, knowing other versions of himself existed, but — honestly? with everything else that’s happened? it’s not the weirdest thing, by far. 

‘sides —– it’s kinda nice. knowing he’s not alone. and when he remembers what they’ve both gone through … it’s easy to give out a hug. they both kind of need it. after a moment sora pulls away, grinning, trying to make the situation light again in the face of more pressing thoughts, and plants a fist on his hip with a playful grin.  “ what’s that people say about self care again? ”
