1. Do you believe in ghosts? I’m sure our brains are capable of creating them. 2. What’s the last joke you remember? I hate jokes. ;) 3. Did you have a special toy when you were a kid? Well, several. But definitely the most symbolic was my favourite plush penguin whom I lost when I was 13 - I cried, and I was ashamed I cried because I was too old for being so attached to toys, and that was definitely one of the important thresholds for me growing up. 4. Which animal do you think would be your Patronus? I think some kind of a dolphin or a whale. 5. Are you clumsy? Not particularly. 6. Do you miss high school? In a way, yes, and in a way, not at all. I miss being in my late teens and the feeling of freedom and irresponsibility, and I also miss the all the artsy shenanigans I got into. 7. If you could travel in time, would you do it? Why? Where? Yes, I definitely would. I have been reading Connie Willis’s books recently and I hate that I cannot become a time-traveling historian. I would travel wherever I could - seriously. I love traveling and I love history. 8. Do you have a word that makes you laugh? A lot of words make me smile, particularly inside joke words or fandom-coined nicknames for people and things, like Crylo or tarthgasm. Also now that I mentioned it, “stuff and things” - I mean “thangs” gets me every time too and it’s such a stupid joke really. 9. Which song reminds you of your childhood? Many. But I would like to direct you to the beautiful and bizarre music of Nicholas Lens which my dad used as background music for our tabletop rpg. (Yes, I have an awesome geek dad.) 10. Are you a morning person? Definitely not. 11. What’s your favorite legend? I will always have a soft spot for Tristan and Isolde. I have done this meme so many times (and I know I have at least one bunch of unanswered questions from @reyorqana) that I’m just going to keep ylvanne’s questions. The Thing (1982)

Dun, dun... Dun, dun... Dun, dun... Dun, dun...

Aliens (1986)

Not only are xenomorphs probably the coolest and most uniquely designed monsters I've ever seen on film, but Sigourney Weaver killed it and she's such an overlooked icon for her role as Ripley. She's a shining representation of motherhood, and the undying devotion she has for Newt overrode all her fear and nightmares fueled by the events from the previous movie, making her character development the most remarkable in this movie. Also, the suspense of the beeping motion sensors! It became iconic with the series itself and carried over into "Alien: Isolation" (Jesus fucking Christ...).

Dog Soldiers (2002)

If "Jaws" kept you out of the water for a while, this movie will keep you from going camping in the woods for a while! My favorite werewolf movie of all time. Like with the first two movies above, I'm a sucker for good ol’ puppets and costumes, especially when CGI was becoming more prevalent, and the werewolves felt organic, predatory, and terrifying. It was the first performance of Liam Cunningham (right now, probably best known as Davos Seaworth on GoT) that I ever saw and I loved him since. It also made me want to see more of Kevin McKidd.

The Road (2009)

Living in a post-apocalyptic world is being in a never-ending and irreflective drunken haze, because it brings out a side of us that most people wouldn't otherwise see. Nothing's more palpable than the bold-faced certainty of what we as human beings can and will inflict upon each other. We already know this, but "The Road" is a twinkling vestige of humanity that reminds us of what we've forgotten (and should remember).

30 Days of Night (2007)

I actually thought the vampires were very cool in this movie and it was a breath of fresh air to the genre. Rather than being aristocratic, mysterious, coexisting with humans to an extent, or brooding with existential angst, these vampires are bestial and coordinated pack hunters, having no sympathy at all for humans and viewing them as an inferior species and nothing more than pieces of meat. The Arctic setting was reminiscent of John Carpenter’s “The Thing”, like you were completely cut off from society with no other way to survive than to just try and ride out the storm.

Die Hard (1988)

Only the greatest action movie with Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman both in their prime. Hans Gruber is cold-blooded, calculated, sardonic, will do anything to get what he wants, and one of the most memorable movie villains of all time.

5. My best friend: Ah, where to start with her... If people ever receive a complimentary foil to their character at one point or another in life, for me that person would be Les. She's a 25-year-old white girl, I'm a 25-year-old black guy; she likes guns, I like swords; she was raised by affluent parents, I wasn't; she grew up in the southern US, I grew up in the northern US. Life is really strange, because I believe in a worse case scenario that if our polarized lives would've crossed paths at the wrong place and time, she and I would've probably tried to kill each other. She understands and challenges me more than any other human being and she would probably say the same about me, because everything about us accentuates the qualities and capabilities the other person lacks. That's it in a nutshell, because I wouldn't want to bore anyone too much about the two of us. :)

16. Do you think you’ll change in the next 3 months?

Yes I probably will change very much but don't know how will that be :D

28. What was the last thing that made you laugh?The last thing that made me laugh.... I can't really remember but it was probably last weekend when we dressed up as masquerade and 2 dressed up as hookers and had an attitude of them as well. xD

Your favorite place?

Generally, I like places of antiquity such as libraries and museums, but in particular there's an old fishing spot at a river that my grandfather used to take me when I was a boy.

Do you like to spend time outdoors?

Naturally. If it's remote, sparsely touched by other human beings, and isn't named either the North or South Pole, then I'm always in my element!

Are you liking somebody at the moment?

I'm not infatuated with anyone at the moment, but that's always bound to change.

What’s your current goal in life?

At the moment, my goal is to go to Mt. Rainier and travel the Pacific Northwest. I had a good friend that grew up in Washington and all she would speak of sometimes was how spiritually therapeutic it was to explore the woods and mountains there, so I think going there will give me first-hand insight into her perspective of the world and how she came about to believe in the things she believes in. I'm leaving for there in about two weeks and I have no doubt it'll be an incredibly eye-opening experience.

What do you prefer: sweets or salty food?

Well, I'll just say I'm thankful to have a very high metabolism, otherwise I'd be demonstrably ungainly from all the sweet foods I enjoy!

Your current mood?

Snug as a bug in a rug.

With the exception of Primordial, I generally think folk/pagan/viking metal is terrible.

Can you see yourself 20 years in the future? If so, what will you be doing then?

20 years from now I'll be a union member of the International Longshoreman's Association, retiring in Denmark to do nothing but work on my house and copulate with women that have never been with a black man before. But tomorrow's promised to no one and I could always be dead in less than 20 days, let alone 20 years, haha. We'll see when we see.

Name three things you like about yourself.

Tim, Pam, and their children are three very precious aspects about myself that I love, not comparatively with anyone or anything else.

If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
