There were lots of people who joined the Nazi party or voted for them or supported them in power who didn't like the Nazis and maybe weren't even particularly personally prejudiced against some of the various groups the Nazis demonized (at least by the standards of the time). They simply thought that the Weimar status quo was untenable, or they thought the Nazis would build up Germany economically and bring prosperity, or they were worried about communists and radical leftists at a time when Marxism-Leninism really was a powerful force in that part of the world. We have a word for people like that. We call them Nazis.
