I felt a light tap on my shoulder, and I turn to my desk partner Oscar Diaz. Oscar Diaz is 6′4, football quarterback, and overall dreamy. I wouldn’t be surprised if girls are constantly throwing themselves at him, because he is drop dead gorgeous. Most girls would say that he is to die for, and some girls take that too literal. The day that Oscar stumbled into class and decided to sit next to me was the day that I almost died. I can’t keep track of how many death threats I’ve received, and the amount of rumors that were started about me. Bitches be bonkers.

“What do you want Oscar”

“Did you write down the formula for inverse functions?”

“Yea” I said as I passed him my notes.

“This bitch is going to fast. She could slow down a little bit it’s not like she has anywhere important to go after this”

“Maybe she has a hot date”

“A hot date? With who? Her thirty cats” 

“Oscar shhhhh” I said laughing

“Why it’s not like she’s going to do anything. All she does is steal notes from google, and sit at her desk watching novelas”

This made me laugh a lot, because Oscar knows that A Haunted House is one of my favorite movies.

“Yo shhhh, she looking” Oscar said,

“Why she looking like that”,

“Maybe she trynna fight” Oscar said sizing her up.

All I could do is laugh.

“You think I could take her?” 

“No Oscar copy the notes”

“Nah, I think I can take her”

“OSCAR AND LILIANNA IS THERE SOMETHING YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE REST OF THE CLASS” Ms.Winters asked.

Oscar stood up and looked at me, I shook my head.

“Yea, You trynna fight or what Ms.WInters” Oscar asked.

The whole class erupted in laughter and Ms.WInters looked pissed.

She immediately sent us to principals office.

“Oscar I told you she was going to do this. I don’t like getting in trouble” I said as we were waiting outside the principal’s office.

“You like the person who likes trouble”

“And you look like trouble”

“Does this mean you like me Morenita” he asked smirking at me

“Maybe”
