Are you serious?” Well she just assumed it was unspoken. what are they? twelve? that they need to label what they were doing. she is quick to hide faint pink blush on her cheeks by looking away as blonde curls fall to her side, covering her slight embarrassment. “I mean, it could be a date. THERE IS SILENCE AROUND THEM. it’s quiet. not uncomfortable, but the rest of the team was asleep or keeping guard elsewhere. cassie just preferred to be on the skies, looking around, but there was no danger in sight. he had joined her a couple of minutes back, and she offered a quiet smile, before it quietly dies down as blue gaze settles back. the question in her mind manifesting. “so  . . . you have a wife? and a baby? that’s unexpected.”  things had happened. they all thought him gone, dead or injured. well, it was one of those, but they never expected, this. she flies closer to the ground until she lands, still a bit far away from the rest of the group. she needed to have this talk. “I mean, I’m not saying I’m not happy for you. I am, it’s just . . .I never, we never thought this.”
