do you ever write replies in your head while away from your device?

100% all the time! The worst part is I can either never remember to write it down to save it, or I'm usually not in a position to be able to write it down, so it ends up getting lost or I can only remember small bits and pieces by the time I can write it down...

have you ever completely rewritten a reply before posting it?

Oh, this happens at LEAST three or so times a day, between dash threads and DM threads - I have a very difficult brain to please, and my characters will also be very picky about how I write their words/actions/thoughts down.

what’s a detail you always try to slip into your writing?

Depending on the character, especially with my OCs, I like to drop bits and pieces into replies that act almost like small reminders that these characters are not wholly well - there is something wrong with them, whether it be trauma related or general mental illnesses they struggle with.
