I did not realize before this has to be specified cus it's the default for me, but whenever I ship zadr or most characters from iz tbh, there's no romantic feelings going on between any of the characters. Imo Irkens simply do not feel romantic love (basically canon) and all of the Membranes are aro

Side note that prolly should go into another post tbh but I'm too lazy to do that. I'm not a super huge fan of when ppl use characters like Keef/Gretchen/etc as romantic foils for zadr cus often it's done in a very 2d way while really mischaracterizing them. But I think it would be fun and very Vasquezesque to make these characters the butt of the joke for making fun of romantic love
