hii lucija i hope you’re doing well 🥰 just wanted to let you know that i finished n&s a few days ago (it took me forever lmao) and i loved it SO much!! ik you said you read it a while ago & might not remember details but it was so much funnier and more romantic than i expected (thornton is like. THE period guy and mr bell was absolutely the highlight of the book). also i was so pleased to see margaret’s feelings develop a little bc the show sadly wasn’t as clear with that :/ actually a lot of the time it felt like i was reading a different version of the story bc the adaptation wasn’t all that ~accurate but NOT in a bad way at all, in the end it just felt like i was being fed twice bc i really did like the decisions that were made in both versions lmao (altho i am thankful i watched the show first i think that made for a more satisfying experience). anyway sorry for rambling omg but huge huge thanks for recommending the book i really had the most fun time reading it :’)

hi zahraa <33 i hope you're doing alright <3 i'm so glad you loved the book and had fun reading it!! i read it like 6 years ago and completely forgot about it. all that i can remember from it is that i swooned at the ending (and that it was a bit different from the show i think??). so there's that hjshdsj but i completely agree about thorntorn being THE repressed period guy being soft only for the love of his life <3 i wish i could discuss the book with you more, but maybe this is a sign that i should reread it (and rewatch the show while i'm at it). thank you for sending this and i'm really happy you enjoyed the book and the show! n&s is probably one of my fav period drama shows of all time (very closely followed by jane eyre, awae and sanditon) and seing your posts on my dash brought back all the memories of watching it for the first time (and also laughing, screaming and crying while watching it). love you and i hope you have a wonderful day <3

Zahraa aghdsdfjvhfdjhgfhjkfghjbkgfhgf thank you, I appreciate it. I purposefully didn’t provide any context for that particular show I watched just now because, full disclosure, I just watched it because I think one of the actors is cute. It was worth it for that and very little more.
