What do you think of characters passing out from overwork or exhaustion? Like I know there isn't much angst to it, but like they've worked themselves so hard because they have to for the sake of their friends and everyone, and they get so exhausted that they physically can't keep themselves up, are on the verge of passing out and need to be supported. I speak with reference to this one scene from Kuroko no Basuke that I love way too much.

i love this trope in anime (one of the reasons i watched knb lolol). although i have to say, it really does it for me when there’s illness tied to it, which is the case a lot of times in anime too (thinkin abt natsume.......) 

but yes, a good trope :)

I've been reading so many hurt!Lance fics lately and now I just have TOO MANY FEELINGS FOR THE POOR BOY :'( Also whoever started that headcanon about Lance missing his big family back on Earth, I am 200% here for it :')

i’m just a mess abt lance 24/7 i feel u. and i mean.....that part is pretty much canon lol. we don’t know much about his fam but we know he misses them and it destroys me inside

Hellohello! Just in reference to your post about Mick remembering Len's childhood home, yesss I also thought about that! :D And also!! When Mick tells Len "you know what I want most" and Len replies immediately "to watch it burn"...just imagine the shit that Mick must've gone through as well that Len just completely understands him :')

Oh man. Can you imagine what must of happened when he got burnt? Caitlin mentions that Mick could have gone to the hospital to get skin grafts but chose not to.What if he had to be patched up by shady doctors that Len could find? Having to watch him recover slowly. Do we know how Mick Rory become crazed with his love of fire? What if his pyromania was only mild before the fire which caused his burns? That being burned drove him to “insanity”? Len swore to himself as he watched Mick recover from his wounds that he’d try and keep him in check? After all it was his job that Mick got hurt on.I think Len and Mick have such a deep emotional connection. Something somewhere in their history Len attached himself to Mick (whether he likes to admit it or not) Why else would he lie to his partner about the mission? What made Len decide to bring him along if he knew all along he wasn't going to honour what he promised Mick? There’s a need or reliance there. He still looks after Mick too even though he knows full well and accepts that they want opposite things out of life.This is why I really want more ColdWave back story, alot of what we get from them is subtext and inference from the audience. So we kinda know the why, we need to know the how. I want to know when they met, what they've been through. The only "Solid” back story we have is that they've worked numerous jobs together and they've been in prison together. I hope next week when Mick and Len go through their couples therapy, more light will be shed on the subject.
