There's also the thing where they're trying to make sure hospitals can keep up. That's one thing people forget about the lockdowns. It's not so much to get rid of the virus, because you can't that way, it's so it's at least slowed down enough (flatten the curve) for medical workers to be able to handle the load. Everyone getting sick now vs. the same amount of people getting sick spread out over a longer period, and thus not overflowing the hospitals.
That’s very true. New York is a prime example of that with mass graves, storing bodies in refrigerated trucks and lack of protective equipment for their medical personnel. With that said, we need to also remember that every time a medical staff member dies the curve changes. We can convert hotel rooms or what have you into make shift hospital rooms, but we can’t make fully trained nurses and doctors magically appear.

zerocode replied to your link “Tumblr Online Web Viewer and Statistics | Tumgir”
There's been a bunch of those popping up lately. Apparently tumblr's busy trying to get them taken down, which means they'll probably be here forever.
It’s just so weird, you know? I mean, it’s bad enough that so much of Tumblr’s content is reposted over on Facebook but to have sites that are culling Tumblr content... it’s weird. And on the face of it pointless but I guess they’re selling ads so they’re somehow monetizing it.

I liked Hotel Artemis. It wasn't great, but it definitely bombed harder than it deserved.
It’s weird that I’d never heard of it before. It would have been a lot of fun to see in the theater with the energy of a crowd - rather than say, two elderly cats who snored their way through it. I liked it more than I thought it would and loved the cast. I don’t remember seeing any ads for it or much of anything here on Tumblr, which is kinda odd especially considering who’s in it. A quick look shows it opened alongside Ocean’s 8 and Hereditary so that didn’t help it even though it was out in 2000+ theaters here in the States. YouTube comments keep calling a John Wick ripoff which I didn’t see. Anyway, the music in the trailer is awful especially considering how interesting the music in the movie is.

They went a bit too heavy on the teen soap drama, which I guess makes sense, since YA is still a popular genre. Apart from that, it was pretty decent.
It was! I just wasn’t expecting that much teen drama and it made the story drag, I feel. I didn’t find any tension about Dodge and the keys building. It’d get really interesting and then *poof* back to teen soap land. I mean, if I had a little brother and found him trapped in a ring of fire by the evil demon lady he’d been telling me about since we moved into the creepy yet awesome house he would have had me sticking to him like glue to make sure he was safe but we never saw any of that and it frustrated me. It’s not a bad show, but it’s definitely not as good as it could have been.
