The Zoya Factor: After Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam K Ahuja shares a video of Alia Bhatt revealing her lucky charm

The gorgeous Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has been extremely busy on a promotional spree for her upcoming film The Zoya Factor. Also featuring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead and Sanjay Kapoor, Angad Bedi and Sikander Kher in the supporting cast, the romantic drama is directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Fox Star Studios, Pooja Shetty and Aarrti Shetty. It is based on the 2008 novel of the same name, written by Anuja Chauhan and is slated to hit theatres on 20th September.

The Zoya Factor follows the story of a Rajput girl named Zoya Solanki, played by Sonam, who is an executive in an advertising agency and hates cricket. Ironically, she becomes a lucky charm of the Indian team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. She even falls in love with Nikhil Khoda, portrayed by Dulquer, the captain of the Indian cricket team who believes only in hard work and not in superstitions or luck.

Today, Sonam took to her social media handle to share a short video of her friend and actor Ranbir Kapoor talking about his lucky charm. Now, she has uploaded an adorable new video featuring Alia Bhatt in which the actress reveals her lucky charm. Along with the post, Sonam wrote the caption: “@aliaa08, your lucky charm describes you best! Good thoughts and good vibes only! Revealed: Uncle Sanjay Kapoor Will Be Feature As Sonam Kapoor’s Dad In Zoya Factor With Dulquer Salman

Shooting of Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salman’s movie Zoya Factor will be started soon. The movie will be adapted from a book with the same title that has been written by Anuja Chauhan. In the movie, Dulquer is expected to play the role of Indian Cricket Team skipper. On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor is an advertising agency executive. Direction for the movie will be given by Abhishek Sharma who has previously done Parmanu: The Story of Pokran with John Abraham and Diana Penty.

According to the reports in media, another member from the Kapoor family will be signed for this movie as well. Can you guess who it is? Uncle Sanjay Kapoor has approached for the movie. He is expected to play the role of Sonam Kapoor’s father in the movie. On asking about it, Sanjay Kapoor has confirmed “I received a call from the producer when I was in New York. Later, director Abhishek Sharma called me up to give me a gist of the story and discuss my part.”

Later on, Sanjay has added “I was waiting for a good film to come my way and this just seems perfect…… Besides Mubarakan (which featured his brother Anil Kapoor and nephew Arjun Kapoor), I haven’t worked with my family in any film. So, it’s an exciting opportunity for me to act alongside Sonam. We have started the reading sessions and I can’t wait to commence the shoot. We are a close-knit khandaan and Sonam has grown up in front of my eyes. She is like my daughter, and there’s nothing better than working with your own family.”

In the future, Sonam Kapoor will share screen space with his father Anil Kapoor also in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Real jodi of father and daughter will be seen onscreen. Rajkummar Rao is starring opposite Sonam Kapoor in this movie.
