bro my county just straight up removed the student technology helpdesk/ticket submission without telling anyone (or at least, without telling the students and/or public)
and now, due to their technology fucking up i cannot access several sites that i need to complete homework. for example, AP classroom, the official website for the county public School system along with all of its subsidiaries (like the basic school homepage and startup websites), and clever. Chances are that theres many more blocked, because what its blocking for some god damned reason zscaler us blocking websites tagged as "student allow" and "restricted student access". and I can't even reach out to them to troubleshoot, or just get an appointment with the tech guy. this is so frustrating.
oh its also worth noting something i found funny, assuming the "student access" was traditionally used as a whitelist for sites you were meant to go, i find it funny that among the websites most critical to my continued education, another site grouped then blocked under the student access tag, was coolmathgames, and that was the first site i ran into issues on lmao
Update as i was doing a little more research into the extensions my country forces upon us, turns out Wikipedia is also blocked!!!!
Zscaler is also blocking its own site. fuck my stupid baka life
